Park City is well known as a winter playground, but often does not get the attention it deserves in the summer. Complete with endless adventure, delicious local restaurants and cafes, and incredible, lush views, Park City is seemingly heaven on Earth during the warmer months.

ATTICUS COFFEE HAS THE BEST EGG AND CHEESE SANDWICH.
EAT ON THE BACK PATIO AT PURPLE SAGE.

Where to Find the Best Eats

Breakfast Sandwich at Atticus Coffee & Tea
Start the day with a local Park City favorite! Atticus Coffee & Tea offers a robust menu of hot breakfast items, baked goods, and of course, coffee and tea. This Downtown staple is styled as a walk-up counter and is outfitted with books, mountain-themed merchandise, and fun souvenirs to keep you occupied while you wait for your order. Don't be surprised if there is a bit of a wait, but we promise it's well worth it!

Our Recommendation: Order an egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel with an iced sweet cream cold brew.

Hotcakes at 5Seed
We mean it when we say we're breakfast enthusiasts, and with so many incredible morning eateries, it's only fair that we add 5Seed to our list of Best Eats. Unlike Atticus Coffee & Tea, 5Seed is a sit-down breakfast spot with various yummy breakfast options for every taste palette. The staff exudes warm hospitality and is happy to help you decide on your order in case you're torn—although we won't judge if you choose to order one of everything!

Our Recommendation: Order an iced coffee and a Hotcake for the table – it's almost too pretty to eat, so snap a picture before you dig in!

El Chubasco
El Chubasco is a must-visit for anyone craving a true taste of Mexico right in the heart of Park City. Their dishes are rooted in rich traditions passed down through generations and served in a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. Known for its famous salsa bar, this tasty eatery offers 12 house-made varieties, ranging from mild to extra spicy.

Our Recommendation: Order the chicken enchiladas and go wild at the salsa bar—it’s like a flavor adventure in every bite!

Looking up Park City's historic main street in Utah in autumn
ENJOY THE HOT TUB AT ONE EMPIRE PASS IN PARK CITY!

Where to Find the Best Views

Stroll the Old Town Stairs Off Main Street
Step into Park City's past as you climb the Old Town Stairs—a series of historic pedestrian stairways used by locals for generations. Built to connect hillside mining-era homes on Empire and Ontario Avenue to Main Street below, these steep steps are more than a shortcut; they’re a walk through the town’s history. The most iconic, Shorty’s Stairs, provide some of the best views of this quintessential mountain town and its bustling Main Street!

Our Recommendation: Start your journey near the City Hall parking lot and explore the sidewalks between the stunning hillside homes. For the best experience, visit at sunrise or sunset.

The Hot Tub at One Empire Pass
If ever there was a hidden oasis in Park City, it's from the hot tub at One Empire Pass. Unfortunately, it's not available to those not staying at One Empire Pass; however, the view is enough to convince us to book a stay! Choose from two hot, bubbling waters and enjoy the lush greenery of the mountains.

Our Recommendation: Start the day right with a sunrise soak—it's cool enough in the mornings to enjoy the crisp mountain air.

Picnic Along Guardsman Pass Scenic Backway
Looking for an unforgettable (and effortless) mountain adventure? Guardsman Pass Scenic Backway is the perfect choice. This fully paved, easy-to-drive route climbs 7 miles up to the summit—sitting at 9,717 feet! Along the way, you’ll be treated to sweeping vistas of the Wasatch Mountains and Heber Valley, with scenic overlooks that beg you to stop and take it all in. Keep your camera ready because deer, moose, and vibrant aspen groves are frequent companions on this journey, making it a dream for wildlife lovers and photographers.

Our Recommendation: Plan your drive for late afternoon to enjoy the golden light, and pause at a pull-off for a peaceful picnic surrounded by nature’s finest.

SEEK ADVENTURE WITH A FUN MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDE.
GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR INNER COWBOY OR COWGIRL!

Where to Find the Best Adventures

Mountain Biking the Big Easy & Ramble On
Mountain biking is one of the most exciting ways to explore Park City! Perfect for beginners and more skilled riders, Big Easy and Ramble On are the ideal challenge combination of green and blue trails. Start your ride with big rolling jumps on the Big Easy, and then push your limits on the rocky path of Ramble On.

Our Recommendation: If you're looking for rentals, check out White Pine Touring! They have a full range of inventory for an epic mountain biking outing.

Horseback Riding with North Forty Escapes
Get in touch with your inner cowboy and plan a horseback riding excursion! North Forty Escapes is a 30-minute drive outside Downtown Park City, but it's well worth the trip! Fans of the hit TV show, Yellowstone, will be excited to learn that the riding trails are within proximity to where the majority of the show was filmed. Your guide will be able to point out other iconic landmarks from the show and help identify wildlife along the way.

Our Recommendation: Plan your trip in the morning. The horses tend to lose their steam as the day goes on and (understandably) like to stop much more to munch on weeds and grass.

CRATER HOT SPRINGS IS A 30-MINUTE DRIVE FROM PARK CITY.
PARK CITY IS HEAVEN ON EARTH DURING THE WARMER MONTHS.

Swimming in Crater Hot Springs
Truly a hidden gem, Crater Hot Springs is a 30-minute drive from Park City and is one of the most unassuming experiences in the area. Available for both swimming and scuba diving, Crater Hot Springs is a reservation-only cave that gives home to naturally warm mineral waters. It's perfect after a day of hiking or mountain biking to soothe your muscles.

Our Recommendation: Make a reservation well in advance! Reservations are for an hour block; the earlier you book, the more options you have to choose from.

Minutes from Park City, Jordanelle is surrounded by rolling hills and stunning mountain vistas, with relaxing sandy beaches, cozy picnic areas, and scenic hiking trails along the mountainside. A great Summer adventure!
