Mountains, Hiking, Skiing

Originally a historic mining village situated at the foot of the legendary Tenmile Range, the Breckenridge of today is an iconic ski town and a premier year-round destination. When the snow flies, the area is transformed into a winter wonderland of world-class skiing and snowboarding.

The slopes as spectacular as they are diverse—from groomed, family-friendly slopes to steep and deep above-tree-line skiing, and everything in between. In the summer months, the Blue River offers epic fly-fishing. The greater area is also a mecca for hikers and mountain bikers.

Due to high visitation and staffing constraints, local offerings such as restaurants, bars, shopping, and shared amenities may have limited hours and availability. Cell phone and internet service may also be impacted during high visitation periods. During the warm weather season, local municipalities and homeowners are investing in infrastructure that provide the best quality of life for local residents and visitors alike. Construction, traffic delays and noise are inevitable as they seek to maintain and improve access to this alpine life we love so much.
