In only a few weeks, mid-century devotees and architecture enthusiasts will descend upon the desert for a tribute to Palm Springs’ treasured design history. Running from February 12 -22, Modernism Week  promotes and preserves the city’s iconic modern architecture.

One of Modernism Week’s top attractions for multiple years, the legendary property of singer and actor Frank Sinatra and his wife, Nancy Barbato Sinatra, is a pristine example of Desert Modernism. Hosted by the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation, tour-goers receive both an in-depth look at the historic site and an 8-page collectible color handout.

Signature cocktails and light bites invite attendees to mingle in the lush backyard of this pop-culture phenomenon. Guests will learn about the home’s legacy, including the transformation of the famous pink door by Colombian interior designer and photographer Moises Esquenazi, and enjoy an opportunity to leisurely explore the bold interior. A portion of the proceeds helps support the night’s host, the LGBTQ+ History & Archives of the Desert.
