DETAILS: Welcome to Ski View Condo, a cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat near the Village of Northstar. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this property is perfect for couples or small families to experience the remarkable beauty of the Lake Tahoe area. In Winter, ski access is only a short walk away, and when Summer comes, the North Shore of Lake Tahoe is nearby for boating, jet skiing, kayaking, and parasailing. For convenience, the complex features a communal locker room and a laundry room. After a day in the beautiful outdoors, guests will love curling up beside the fireplace or relaxing on the balcony.
Wood doors and trim add warmth throughout this single-story condo. In the entry hall, guests will find a convenient wooden bench for slipping off hiking and snow boots. Head down the hall into the connected living, dining, and kitchen spaces, where a stacked-stone fireplace adds mountain ambiance and large picture windows showcase the surrounding evergreens. Sink into the living area’s soft sofa and plush armchair for a night of unwinding and watching DVDs on the TV. The fully equipped modern kitchen overlooks the living space with a 2-stool breakfast bar, encouraging effortless mingling. For formal meals, the dining table to the side seats 4. On Summer and bluebird days, wander out the back door to enjoy refreshments at the 2-person bistro set on the balcony. The primary bedroom hosts a comfortable queen bed and Smart TV. For more sleeping accommodations, there’s a queen sleeper sofa in the living space.
Experience all the adventure and natural wonder of Lake Tahoe and Northstar Resort at Ski View Condo. Parking for 2 vehicles makes it easy to discover the area. For ski-in/ski-out access, Condo Run is located east of the complex, connecting guests to Village Run and Big Springs Express Gondola for mid-mountain trails. Book today!
Guests have access to Northstar outdoor activities and the Northstar Recreation Center. Main facility Fall/Winter hours for lap pool are 8AM-8PM. Gym and spas 8AM-8:45PM. Game room 8AM to 8PM. Adult 18+ supervision is required for pools/spas/game room. We provide printed paper rec passes and leave them inside the home prior to arrivals. Northstar charges guests $8 per person/per day. Up to 6 guests can share 1 pass for multiple-day entry. All guests 18 and over are required to sign a liability waiver at the rec center front desk before being allowed entry.

Nice phone reservation people (though it would be great if online reservations worked). Nice kitchen and bathroom kits in the rental unit. The natural retreats zippered bag is a very nice touch. Local person always answered phone when I called with questions.
Only negative is 5 pm check in. That is wayyyyy too late - cold and dark outside. Lockbox seemingly frozen and wouldn't open initially.

This place is GEORGEOUS! great condo and spotless. The owner has really done a great job. The location is amazing the place is beautiful. It is one of only 4 end units so we ate breakfast lunch and dinner on the deck. Was so relaxing. The owner goes out of their way to make it super cozy. The only down sides are that you are not renting from the owner but a company, and we rented at 4:30 pm for $1,200 for 3 nights and never heard back until the next day after a text/email nudge from us. There was no rec center pass in the condo, the company did send us a code but with out the pass you can't park at the rec center. No check in early or late. Other than that it was spotless and nice atttetion to detail from the owners and the rental company. They left a book with all of the codes and other information you will need this is very easy and organised. We really came home rejuvinated very nice place. We will rent it again. Thank you!

The Ski View was a great place and fairly convenient location. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. However, we had our 90yr old dad with us and the location of the condo was difficult for him getting to and from the car - too long and too many steps up and down (wish it had been more clear in the description of the property). The bathtub was also difficult for him getting in and out - too high for him to be stepping in (highly suggest renovating bath to be a walk-in only). When we arrived the gas was on in the fireplace and emitting heat in an already hot condo. Tried turning it off like instructed, but wasn't shutting off. Husband opened section under fireplace and disconnected and turned off gas from that. Noticed it hadn't been cleaned (lots of dirt and dust) in a long time. That helped keep the condo a bit cooler, after finally shutting off gas. We discovered the day before leaving that the refrigerator was broken. Was not able to fix in time before some of food spoiling and needing to be thrown out. That was a bit disappointing. The lights in the kitchen were very dim and hard to see for cooking. Other than those items, our stay was good. The customer service reps we talked with about the refrigerator were nice - no issues with them at all.

The location is truly unbeatable! A nice, quiet and secluded area yet you’re still able to ski/board right into the village and hop on the gondola. The village is also a short walk if you’re just looking to hang out or grab something to eat. The place was super clean and had just about everything we needed for our week long stay.

Very well managed and well stocked place, quiet, cozy and welcoming, unbeatable location, comfy furniture and plenty of all the amenities (towels, kitchen/bathroom supplies, blankets, etc). The host was also very communicative and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great apartment for ski in/out right under the Gondola at Northstar. Parking is easy, and all the amenities of the village are a quick walk away. The condo is comfortable and clean - really appreciated the cleaning done before arrival and the small hotel-like soaps and necessities provided. Would book again

Nice phone reservation people (though it would be great if online reservations worked). Nice kitchen and bathroom kits in the rental unit. The natural retreats zippered bag is a very nice touch. Local person always answered phone when I called with questions.
Only negative is 5 pm check in. That is wayyyyy too late - cold and dark outside. Lockbox seemingly frozen and wouldn't open initially.

Great location with about a minute walk to the ski run. You can see the Northstar Village and the Big Springs Gondola building from the unit.

This place is GEORGEOUS! great condo and spotless. The owner has really done a great job. The location is amazing the place is beautiful. It is one of only 4 end units so we ate breakfast lunch and dinner on the deck. Was so relaxing. The owner goes out of their way to make it super cozy. The only down sides are that you are not renting from the owner but a company, and we rented at 4:30 pm for $1,200 for 3 nights and never heard back until the next day after a text/email nudge from us. There was no rec center pass in the condo, the company did send us a code but with out the pass you can't park at the rec center. No check in early or late. Other than that it was spotless and nice atttetion to detail from the owners and the rental company. They left a book with all of the codes and other information you will need this is very easy and organised. We really came home rejuvinated very nice place. We will rent it again. Thank you!

The Ski View was a great place and fairly convenient location. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. However, we had our 90yr old dad with us and the location of the condo was difficult for him getting to and from the car - too long and too many steps up and down (wish it had been more clear in the description of the property). The bathtub was also difficult for him getting in and out - too high for him to be stepping in (highly suggest renovating bath to be a walk-in only). When we arrived the gas was on in the fireplace and emitting heat in an already hot condo. Tried turning it off like instructed, but wasn't shutting off. Husband opened section under fireplace and disconnected and turned off gas from that. Noticed it hadn't been cleaned (lots of dirt and dust) in a long time. That helped keep the condo a bit cooler, after finally shutting off gas. We discovered the day before leaving that the refrigerator was broken. Was not able to fix in time before some of food spoiling and needing to be thrown out. That was a bit disappointing. The lights in the kitchen were very dim and hard to see for cooking. Other than those items, our stay was good. The customer service reps we talked with about the refrigerator were nice - no issues with them at all.

The location and cleanliness of the unit were also fantastic as was the text letting us know the unit was ready early (we didn't need to come early but that was really an amazing touch).

Great place! Great location; nicely remodeled; clean. Sofa bed was comfortable. Three things keeping it from a 10:
1) Hard to locate sheets for the sofa bed - would be helpful to note where they are / label the drawer
2) Toilet paper was kinda cheap
3) Would have been nice to have coffee

The location is truly unbeatable! A nice, quiet and secluded area yet you’re still able to ski/board right into the village and hop on the gondola. The village is also a short walk if you’re just looking to hang out or grab something to eat. The place was super clean and had just about everything we needed for our week long stay.
