GETTING HERE

Tucked in the Sierra Nevada mountains between California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe is roughly 40 miles south of Reno and the intersection of Interstates 80 and 580. Easily accessible off State Road 28 and U.S. 50, enjoy pine-scented breezes and breathtaking vistas as you cruise around the lake’s perimeter. Don’t want to drive? There are numerous direct flights available to the Tahoe-International Airport (RNO), or take the scenic route and hop on Amtrak’s California Zephyr line, which stops in Truckee and stretches from Sacramento to Chicago.
