A second-level condo with sweeping views of the Sherwin Mountains, a private balcony, and modern mountain decor, Mountainback #91 is an ideal escape for families or couples looking for a tranquil place to call home after all-day adventures. A spacious living room features two full-length leather sofas, a charming stone fireplace with wood-burning stove, and a chic metal sign that welcomes you, “Home.” A large-screen TV and entertainment center invite you to cozy up with one of the plush throw blankets and enjoy a cup of cocoa.

A familial dining area with four formal seats and a flexible, kid-friendly bench sits below a minimalist Edison-bulb chandelier. The dining room flows into a fully equipped kitchen with hardwood cabinetry stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, and high-end, stainless steel appliances, including a Cuisinart DC 3200 coffee maker.

Down the hallway is the light-filled master bedroom, which features an en-suite bath, flat-screen TV and sliding glass doors that open onto the balcony. A sleek black California king sleigh bed features what just might be the highlight of the condo: a black label Simmons Beautyrest Vivianne 15” pillowtop mattress, the pinnacle of luxury for a perfect night’s rest. Twin black wood nightstands, and a tasteful vanity with mirror complete the room.

The guest suite features a queen bed with a Serta Perfect Sleeper Super Pillowtop mattress, ensuring an equally soothing night of sleep. This room is styled in calming tones and a pale-gray velvet accent chair. A flat-screen TV sits atop a chic easel stand, complemented by rich hardwood nightstands and a vanity with mirror. Guests of this bedroom have easy access to a full shared bath in the hall. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room adds accommodations for two to sleep a total of 6 guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great condo close to Canyon Lodge We visited Mammoth recently and stayed at the Mountainback 91 condo. This unit is a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath condo that had been recently upgraded. Fully stocked kitchen with everything needed including items like a spice rack, popcorn, coffee, condiments in the fridge, etc. Very clean throughout with comfy beds. Also the heaters had thermostats for each room so we were always comfortable (it dropped to 2 F. during our weekend). The Mammoth shuttle has a curbside stop at the unit which made transportation to the lodge easy and included 2 covered parking spaces so didn't have to brush snow off the cars at any time! One of the nicest condo's we've stayed at in Mammoth! I highly recommend this property!

It is centrally located, it is very comfortable (very clean, new furniture, carpet new, kitchen has all you need Including coffeemaker and cream, washer and dryer, wood for the fireplace and underground parking). We particularly enjoyed the cozyness of the place. We will be back soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice cozy home We had a very nice stay at Mountainback. I didn't have to bring anything from home it was a full kitchen which was a surprise. They had everything you needed at your fingertips, It was very quiet place and nice vie w to look out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and extremely comfortable condo! Wow!! What a hidden gem this 2b2/b condo unit is! Our group enjoyed this spacious condo this winter. I was stunned to find myself sleeping on one of the most expensive mattresses they make in the master bedroom. I have stayed in many high end units but have never had such an amazing and sound sleep. The other beds were extremely comfortable as per friends. The pullout couch queen slept like a real bed with the topper pad they provided. Each room was extremely warm with their own thermostat. The views were breathtaking! Relaxing by the warm fireplace was incredible! They had plenty of wood inside, lighter, and starter. Nice new furniture, carpet, pots/pans ect. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly think of needing. They seem to keep upgrading the unit. I have never seen a unit be so fully stocked and never having to look for something, right at arms reach. The condo was very clean. It was great to find some of the best coffee beans, a coffee grinder, great coffee maker, AND creamer!!! Woke up not having to run to the store (spices were there). We loved the ski locker right outside the front door. Keyless door was so convenient. Another amazing surprise was second stop #75 BLUE LINE shuttle is right at the curb in front of the condo that only circles to village and Canyon Lodge. We got to Canyon in a few minutes. This Mountainback building #9 is one of the closest to the Canyon Lodge. We walked to the Canyon lodge a few times, but loved the shuttle as it came around every time we planned to walk. We parked in the underground garage and never had to drive our cars anywhere during our stay. Hoping to make it out this summer as bike trails and the lakes are 5-10 min away, and you can walk to the village. Will definitely be coming back this winter to ski! Secretly hoping to keep this gem a little hidden!
