Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pros and Cons... Great location with easy beach access. House all on one level is very nice, but a few suggestions: An umbrella for shade out near the pool would be nice. Also, the appliances desperately need to be updated. It is very difficult to cook on the stove or bake in the oven due to the age of the appliances and the heat is very difficult to regulate. I also noticed the dishwasher didn't seem to clean very well due to the age. The bed is VERY uncomfortable as are the couch and recliner. The house definitely has some pros and cons and some easy to fix issues.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy walk to the beach and pool a plus The location for a house not directly on the gulf was great. There were unobstructed views of the ocean from the deck, and it was a short walk to the beach. The pool was also great to use when we weren't at the beach and our daughter wanted to swim. The house could definitely use some TLC, though. The ice maker in the freezer was broken and there was a big rip in the carpet, among a few other things. None of these really impacted our stay, though. Overall, a great trip to San Blas as always.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little beach cottage! Our family rents houses on San Blas every year. This year, my fiance and I decided to stay at the Blue Dolphin and I'm glad we did! The living room/kitchen is a big open space, perfect for entertaining. There is a sliding door to a screened in porch that was perfect for morning coffee or a night cap (they could use more lighting out there, but this might be for turtles). Kitchen is well appointed with plates, glasses, silverware and cookware. There is a grill outside for cooking too! The pool was a great addition! We could not figure out the TV in the living room, but had our Apple TV which was sufficient for us. Washer/dryer and dishwasher were both great to have. There is a key pad with a code for entering, very nice to NOT have to worry about keys on the beach! One negative- there are ants everywhere. We had a number of them come in- the culprit? A tiny crumb on the floor. If you have children, it might not be as easy to keep the place clean and rid of ants but once we identified the problem we had no further issues. Perhaps something the management company can address. There are also a lot by the pool area. Overall this was a great property and we will return (perhaps will make sure they spray before we come to avoid the ant issue we faced this time!).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved the view! We had a great time at Blue Dolphin. The shaded front porch with the beach view was wonderful to sit on every morning with my coffee. The only problem we had was that there was no broom! The sand became horrible by the end of the week. I would love to see this house get finished painting inside as only half of it is “updated” and for there to be even just slightly updated oven and dishwasher. They might be from the 70’s!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great views, close to the beach, best vacation. Stayed at the Blue Dolphin with my Daughter, Son-in law and 2 Grandchildren. Had a wonderful time. The beach was great, the kids had fun in the pool that was just the right size for them. And we enjoyed the view of the ocean from our screened in deck. Loved the Blue Dolphin. Will be back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable enough but needs updates and some TLC Home is comfortable but it needs some regular maintenance and attention to appearance. Furnishings look to be "early Goodwill" . Cable (WiFi) not the best and home location was a dead zone for our cell phone service (apparently the Cape is known for spotty cell service).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Partial view and Location - Needs Updates The location to the beach and partial beach view was great. Appliances in kitchen very old - 70's. Carpet in hallway and master was nasty. Needs replaced with tile or flooring. Decks in need of repair and doors were broken.
