The cabin was very clean and exactly like the pictures. The reservation and check-in process was very efficient.
The accommodations were great and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Check-in was quick and easy. Accommodations were excellent. Staff went above and beyond helping me get vehicle up steep driveway after big snow event. Scenery was incredible! Great period of rest and time away from the rigors of life.
We stayed a week in October and experienced wonderful views at any location of the cabin, the cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. All the necessities of home provided. Very peaceful. Look forward to return stay.
The home was beautiful and relaxing. Very quiet despite cabins on both sides. Never bothered by neighbors. Pool close by (def a plus). Drive up hill kind of crazy but my little toyota corolla made it. would definitely go back. Beautiful area and it was so quiet, I did yoga on the deck. Just wish it were closer. I'd go back more often.
Incomparable mountain views
We were recommended to this cabin when our "regular" was booked. We weren't sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. The views are simply awesome. The best we have had in the Smokies after a decade renting cabins. I loved being able to cook and see the view while I worked. The upper bedroom view is beautiful. Even from the bathtub. The level of privacy is tremendous. The beds are very comfortable. As you walk out of the bedroom, you are greeted with the most beautiful vistas from the windows in the game room. You just cannot beat these views. And they surround you. They change hour by hour. If you come to the Smokies for mountain views, this is the place. We have always loved Brothers Cove because it is so beautifully natural. This particular cabin really emphasizes all that is beautiful there. It has neighboring cabins, but they are almost unnoticeable. The place is well equipped, but could use a little refresher. I would pay more for the unit if it were brought up to date in a couple of ways. They could use new family room furniture. They could definitely use new seat cushions on the dining room chairs. They need a few more serving bowls for people who cook. But otherwise, there is very little to criticize. Sure, they could put in more modern finishes, but the rustic charm is nice for what it is. My husband and I have a gorgeous modern home in our home state. Buck's is not that. It is mountain charm. With everything you need for comfort. Thanks again to the staff of Natural Retreats who gave us great service. We will see you in the fall!
What a view!
We visited in July! Cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and spacious. We had a bear visit us too! The property has many butterflies and cardinals we saw all week. My kids loved the little lizards! I would suggest they update the furniture. We couldn’t eat at the dining table because the chairs sank in so much we felt like the table was at our chins. It was a beautiful place, great location a wonderful place that felt like home! Can’t wait to visit again!
My wife and I spent a week in June at this cabin. We were blown away by the quality and cleanliness of the cabin. Everything that we wanted was there from soaps, wash cloths, towels, linens, AC, heat, lighted stair way, fans, on and on. Also the response from the office to any questions or issues, was always there.
Amazing views and almost perfect house.
My parents and husband visited in mid June 2018. We thought the cabin views were absolutely gorgeous- totally perfect. The house was the perfect amount of space for 4 adults. The place was completely spotless. Our only constructive criticism was the grill is in need of some maintenance (picture provided). The charcoal struggled to stay on the grate because it was so warped. We grilled two out of the three nights we were there so it’s still useable, but it was frustrating my Dad as he grilled.

Serine relaxing retreat
I visited the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee at Brothers Cove
Everything was exceptional from the guest service to the cabin
Bucks Landing was nothing but spectacular
Great features!! Pool table and hot tub a bonus!!
We visited in August
beautiful scenery not for the elderly
we visited this retreat for a Family reunion and it was uncomfortable and hard to get around at our age . Not a lot to do we will not go back.
We loved cabin 39 Bucks lookout!
It was so charming with AMAZING views !
We will definitely stay here again !
Visited on Memorial Day weekend. Had a good experience. The views were fabulous. Loved the decor in the cabin.
The cabin's views are spectacular. However the cabin needs updating. The pool table is in poor condition. And when it rains the living room windows leak.
Buck Lookout 39May 2017
This is the second time my wife and I have visited Buck's Lookout and it never disappoints. The front porch has the best view of the smokies and the cabin is spacious and secluded despite being so close to other cabins. Modern amenities are never lacking and the cabin is updated nicely. We will definitely be back!
Perfect Family vacation!
We enjoyed staying at Buck's Lookout. Coincidentally we had rented the same cabin in April 2011! The views of the mountain are great. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. They were also entertained with the games and puzzles available. We loved having our breakfast and dinner outside on the deck. The cabin itself was in great condition. We would surely return.
A bit disappointed. It was beautiful, but it could have been cleaned better.
I visit this home for our honeymoon and the view was beautiful and the layout of the cabin was perfect will definitely come back
We stayed in bucks lookout at brothers cove. The cabin was wonderful. Clean and comfortable. All 4 of us loved it and we are already talking about returning. The view from the back deck was spectacular and we spent most of our time out there. The people at brothers cove were great too. Highly recommend it!
We vacationed in this home from October 30th 2016 through November 4th. Loved the views and the decor! Would definately stay here again! Although the driveway is challenging, we go used to it. No issues with this cabin at all.
Beautiful home but lacking customer service
The house is beautiful with an incredible view but there were some maintenance issues that were inconvenient and annoying in the house. The customer service was lacking. I requested a high chair months before the trip but when I got there I was told they were all taken already. A few days before the trip, we were told we wouldn't have access to the house for hours on our first day because they decided to pave the access road. The road up through Brothers Cove to the house has some low spots that made the bottom of the car hit. We also didn't have water to the house for almost a full day and we couldn't reach anybody in the local office for information or to report the issue.
Happy to say all the reconstuction is complete should love the place. I am sorry to the quest who stayed during the remake. The cabin needed some upgrades.

Breathtaking View but....
We just got back from our vacation and the view was just breathtaking! Our only disappointment was the safety on the deck. There was caution tape, rotten posts on the deck and two by fours nailed keeping the deck together. Where is the upkeep on the deck and keeping the guests safe so far up? Inside the cabin was very nice!
