Bear Naked

Pet-Friendly Cabin for relaxing getaway

Relaxation awaits in the stunning mountains of Tennessee. This charming 1-bedroom, log cabin sleeps 5 and is perfect for a honeymoon, or a small family vacation. It is situated in the Smoky Mountain Ridge community, which offers a creek side setting. The entrance to the cabin is through the fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and the dining table offers seating for four people.

The living room has a sofa sleeper and a recliner. The two way gas fireplace opens into the living room as well as the bedroom to utilize the heat during the winter months. Relax in comfort in the living room and catch your favorite television program. Hidden behind folding doors next to the fireplace are a washer and a dryer, conveniently located but out of sight for aesthetic appeal.

The bedroom offers a king-sized, log bed with log furniture. The room is complete with a TV and a romantic, jetted whirlpool tub. The bathroom can be entered from the bedroom as well as from the hall. Please note that the bedroom is open to the living room giving the cabin a studio feel which is great for a couple and romantic getaway.

Stairs lead to the loft area which looks out over the kitchen and living room. There is a pool table and futon in this room as well. From the living room, there is access to the back deck where you will want to spend time relaxing and enjoying the effervescent bubbles of the hot tub.

Bear Naked welcomes pets for an additional fee of $50/pet. There is also a seasonal community pool with restrooms and picnic tables for a fun day in the heat!

As our gift to you for booking with us, we will offer free admission to select Smoky Mountain attractions. Called the Xplorie Program, our guests will receive one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like the Ripley’s Aquarium, the Smoky Mountain Opry and a host of other amazing experiences. It’s our way of saying “thanks!”

Please note that guests must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relaxing I visited Bear Naked with my family for Christmas. The cabin was very nice and in a peaceful cabin community. The only downfalls were having to drive up the steep hill to park and there was no privacy in the bedroom. Also, even though it didn't bother me, the teens were very upset that even with the wifi, they had no cellular service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed at bear naked The fire place did not work they came out to fix it and he could not repair it but stated it had just been repaired and they were going to have to get them back out there as well as contact us. We never heard back from anyone in regards to the repair. We were there 5 nights 2 were Christmas eve and Christmas night so our expectations of someone coming then were low but when we called on the 26th they did not seem to know anything about it so needless to say it never got repaired. It was a big disappointment since one of the biggest reason's I picked a cabin and not a hotel for Christmas was because of the fire place. The sofa is in such terrible shape I had to put pillows under the sofa cushions in order to sit on it. The cabin is non smoking and it reeked of cigarettes and had not been cleaned very well either. The cabin also sits on a shared 1/2 circle drive that is extremely steep and if someone occupies the nextdoor cabin you have to back up the driveway(we had to the whole time), the pictures are taken in a way to specifically leave out the parking situation. Im not one to bash businesses on line or give bad reviews but I sent an email expressing my disappointment with no apologies or even a response.
