Bear Hug #18

Beautiful Cabin tucked into the woods for a relaxing getaway

Enjoy the quiet seclusion of the one-bedroom, one-bath Bear Hug cabin in the Brother’s Cove Resort. Sleeping a total of four, guests can choose from either the loft’s king-sized accommodation, or the queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The loft offers a personal Jacuzzi tub, a television, and access to a private veranda with two rocking chairs.

Guests can enjoy the living room’s flat screen television, fireplace, plenty of seating, and access to the back deck to take advantage of the stunning mountain views. The Bear Hugs’ back deck is complete with a hot tub and Adirondack chairs, and a charcoal grill is also available for your convenience. Cooking is simple in the Bear Hugs’ fully-equipped kitchen and provides a dining table with enough seating for four.

For your convenience, the cabin also contains a washer, dryer, and iron, and guests can enjoy access to the resort’s public swimming pool. This home now has WIFI. We apologize, but the Bear Hug cabin does not accommodate pets.

As our gift to you for booking with us, we will offer free admission to select Smoky Mountain attractions.  Called the Xplorie Program, our guests will receive one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like the Ripley’s Aquarium, WonderWorks Museum, the Smoky Mountain Opry and a host of other amazing experiences.  It’s our way of saying “thanks!”

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Off the grid! We enjoyed our stay at Bear Hug, but did not realize we would be completely off the grid. No landline, no cell service, and no internet availability at the cabin. Land line available at the office, but some distance from our cabin. We were there for a wedding and were unable to communicate with others in the group without leaving the cabin. Beautiful location! Our cabin needed a good deep cleaning. I wouldn't call it bad, but dusty in places you don't get in a daily cleaning regimen. Bathroom sink has two hairline cracks and should be replaced. I would suggest a cabinet and counter top instead of the pedestal to provide a little space for toiletries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weekend Getaway!!! We spent a wonderful weekend at Brother's Cove, Bear Hug 18. The view was magnificent, and the seclusion was a welcome experience. The colors of the mountains was something to behold, and it was cold enough that we enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub very much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor emergency reaction I arrived around 11pm while there was someone satying in my cabin, so i had to contact the emergency manager that took forever to solve the problem. Then she gave me another cabin that 50 min away and i just drove 14 hours all the way from texas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a Cute Cabin My family of 3 visited this cabin over July 4th. The cabin was nestled on a hilltop with solar lights along the driveway. We absolutely loved our stay and definitely recommend this cabin. It was very clean and smelled of fresh wood. Just like a cabin in the mountains should :) the drive to Pigeon Forge wasn't bad at all! It took around 15-20 min to get there, and the drive was scenic and beautiful. Getting to Gatlinburg took an extra 10 or so minutes! The cabin supplied everything you would need (except for laundry detergent). Our view from the top balcony was pretty, mostly trees but we could see mountains. I have stayed in several cabins, and this was up on my list of the best. I have really bad allergies but they didn't bother me a bit here! (I have stayed in other cabins where I literally sneezed the entire time.) The only thing I found slightly wrong with this cabin was when you flushed the toilet you had to hold the handle down longer than usual to get it to flush. But that really wasn't a big deal! Overall an A+. We can't wait to visit again :)
