We love staying at Tupelo Honey. The staff at NR are friendly and responsive. They call in advance to make sure we are all set and check in when we arrive to be sure we have what we need. We requested that the hot tub be repaired and they did so as soon as possible.

Tupelo honey was exactly as described. Close to the beach and in a great location. Nicely stocked kitchen. Very clean home. The hot tub was nicely cleaned and ready to go. Absolutely loved our vacation here.

Really nice customer service even though there was no face-to-face interaction. Loved being able to just text if we had a need and the door codes made it so easy to check in without worry. Thank you for the extra steps to keep our family safe. Only bad thing was the lack of people wearing masks in the area that were obviously tourist that did not care about others.

The house was extra clean and available early upon arrival. The team was helpful and went out of their way to communicate and respond leading up to and during our stay. The flexibility they provided was so helpful given the uncertainty of the time leading up to our stay.

Loved Tupelo Honey

I visited this home in July 2019. I loved the size, layout, location, and screened porch! This house needs a deep clean. The carpet was stained which we were informed about on our way down. The vents and fans could definitely use a good cleaning. The game room was a wreck. Things were thrown everywhere. The ping pong table is unusable in its currents state. My boys were really looking forward to the ping pong table so my husband was able to use some of our straps to make it level to play however we took those with us soooo it’s back to its original state. The boys were also exited to see a PlayStation until they realized there were no controllers. The hot tub had a ton of sand in it and the cover had seen it’s better days. This sounds like a bad review but it’s not. I loved this home and we had a blast. Tupelo Honey just needs a little tlc.

Needs some work!

We stayed on this part of the Cape in December so I’m well aware of the way the beach in the neighborhoods looked since hurricane Michael. Tupelo Honey needs some TLC, particularly the screens on the porch, the carpeting on the stairs going up from downstairs, and the overall appearance of it. The downstairs area was pretty shoddy, the hot tub not very appealing, and the pipe draining from the fish cleaning sink was corroded. The kitchen needs some basic tools like a cheese grater, more silverware, and more dishes and glasses in general. There was 1 wine glass only and 6-8 champagne flutes. The cabinets in the kitchen are a clutter of mess.

Nice deck and Outdoor living space

Our family enjoyed our stay at Tupelo Honey. The screened in porch was a great place to hang out. We liked the location which wasn't far from Port St. Joe.

Awesome Location

We stayed at this home in April for spring break and had a fantastic time. There was plenty of space in the home for two families and it is located in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. We spent most of our time at the beach, but it was a short drive to St. Joseph State Park and into the town of Port St. Joe. The hot tub was broken while we were there. I was told when we arrived it would be fixed on Wednesday, but it never was. Regardless, we had a great time and I would definitely recommend Cape San Blas and Tupelo Honey.

Great location, nice size, well equipped

We stayed 2 weeks in this house and really enjoyed the time - 2 of us and our pup. Very spacious, well built house, fully equipped. Fantastic screened porch! Only a few blocks to the beach, and a pleasant stroll. On the near-end of the cape, which is an advantage for us. Quiet neighborhood and area this time of year.

Nice rental

We love Cape San Blas - this was our 6th visit in 3 years. Tupelo Honey was a very nice rental, well equipped, good location, lots of great features like a big screened in area that we used a lot due to the biting mosquitoes and yellow flies. The area under the house is almost all concrete, so plenty of area to hang out and to put your gear or boat. The storage room under the house has a key, so you can secure your fishing gear, etc. Nice fish cleaning station and outside shower with hot and cold water. The rental would be perfect if they would replace the carpet with a solid surface flooring. The high pile carpet in the living and dining room was stained and dirty. The Berber carpet was OK in the bedrooms. We prefer solid surface flooring in a beach house - especially one that allows pets. Hopefully they will replace the carpet in time for our next visit and we would definitely stay there again.
