Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great private pool The private pool was a huge plus and was very private with no home next to the pool. The decks were large and lovely, however lacked furniture. The house had been recently painted inside and was very comfortable. The kitchen utensils left a bit to be desired but overall met our needs. There is a good amount of road noise as the house backs up to Cape San Blas Road (which has a lot of fast moving traffic). The beach is about equilivant to a 3 block walk but is lovely. The sand is soft and fluffy and the water was very clear. Even in the height of the summer season there was trouble finding a spot on the beach!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very spacious home! This home was beautiful and very spacious! The walk to the beach wasn't bad at all. The garage area was great for our jeep since we took the top off, which was great fun! I loved the house. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a better pots and pans set and a more secured yard ( it had large spaces under the fence that my dogs could have gotten out of), but I would definitely rent this house again and recommend it to others. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great House is super location! Aus-Seas Haven was a perfect house for our family vacation. It is in a great location within a quiet community of other homes. It is located on a small side road which was perfect for our young children to be able to cycle around the small loop within the community which they really enjoyed. Although it is situated next to the main road behind the house, we did not notice the road one bit during our whole stay so do not be put off by this home being next to the road. The house is within a couple of minutes easy walk to the beach, which was a quiet and wide part of the beach even when the tide was in. Inside the house was spacious, light, modern and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were really comfortable as well!! We would definitely stay at this house again and highly recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spring Break Success House was much bigger than we expected- the kitchen/family room area was great, as well as the wrap around porches. Having the garage with ping pong, etc was a blessing when it rained. Master suite was so huge! NatRetreats was diligent in working on internet for us. Kitchen is sparsely stocked- could use more mixing bowls, larger stockpots (boiling seafood), and dishtowels. There were no pens/pencils, scissors, tape, etc in the house, so we purchased a few items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seaside Haven We just returned home from this lovely destination. This is our second stay in this beach house. Very beautiful, very comfortable, large, clean house. I was glad to see that the fence was repaired in the back yard which made letting our pups out soooo convenient! We didn’t have any issues with sand spurs like we did last year, either. However there were lots of annoying “hitchhikers” (those sticky seed pods) in the back yard. The pool remained cool this year and we were able to enjoy it a lot more than last year. All in all this is a fabulous house. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious floor plan. Bright, beachy decor. Fresh, new linens and fluffy towels. The two levels of wrap around porches are so enjoyable. Also, there is a new great outdoor gas grill. We love this house and will stay in it again! Cape San Blas definitely has our hearts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for the buck My family, two friends, and our dog stayed in late July 2019. The house was in a gated community in a corner position, and access to the beach was close and easy. While the home was perfect for our party of 7 and our dog, there are two recommendations for opportunity. Not sure why there is a charge for a heated pool when the light was out and half full of water. While this did not affect our pool fun, it did cut it short as the sun went down, as it was dark with no other lighting outside for night pool swimming. The other recommendation is the fridge ice maker not working. This also was not that much of a big deal. We simply bought a bag of ice at the store and filled the ice tray. The house was not as clean as the wife expected, I was not inspector gadget and was satisfied considering it’s a pet friendly home. This was cleaner than some we have stayed in at the cape over the years. I would recommend this home to others and would be happy to stay during future trips, as we come to the cape every year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, Comfortable Beach House Beautiful beach house. I am going to write a very honest review. We LOVED our stay here. I will truthfully include pros and cons. Wish it was closer to the ocean. It wasn’t far by any means, but it sure was a long, hot, five minute walk. The pool was nice to have, yet if you are making your choice based on having a pool (like we did) don’t let it be the determining factor. The pool water was VERY hot, felt like a giant bathtub. There was never a comfortable time to get in it. The house itself was very welcoming. The beds were super comfortable with cool, soft, clean linens and clean summery cotton comforters. Bathrooms were nice, except zero water pressure. Two of our days were spent with NO WATER. We were told the entire Cape was out bc they are refilling the tanks. Our neighbors had water, though...? Also, the third full bath is in the garage, so in essence you only have 2.5 bathrooms in the house. Definitely bring your own towels, detergents, soap(s), trash bags, napkins, coffee filters, toilet paper, etc... The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, blender, etc. You will want for nothing in that regard, and you will wish you had some of their items at your own house! The wrap around porches are a dream :) Beautiful breezes and lovely views. Loved that we could pull into the garage with the storage bin on top of our SUV. Oh! Get the CODE for the entrance gate!!! Our car was locked out until we got the code! And there is no cell phone receptivity to call for assistance. The fenced in back yard has large gaps in it, so your dogs can EASILY get out. It is mainly brickle burrs and sand which produced significant challenges for our poor boxer. As far as Cape Life, prepare to be very laid back. Beautiful beach, beautiful parks, fabulous bike paths, very limited eateries, yet an abundance of fresh seafood for you to prepare at home. The little grocery store a few blocks from the house was amazingly well stocked. The other one by the gas station further up, not so good. Piggly Wiggly is about 30 minutes away to do a major stock-up. The crowning glory of our stay was witnessing a sea turtle come to shore to check out the dunes. It was magical to watch her make her way back into the ocean. Every evening our sunset walks on the beach were filled with some type of thrill. The kids enjoyed the nightly bonfires on the beach :) All in all, lovely home, sad to have to leave it!!!
