The Cottage

The Cottage – Exclusive 5* 2 bedroom stone cottage equipped to the highest standard and offering a stunning coastal location

Set in a stunning coastal location on a cliff top overlooking Nefyn Bay, this property is one of eight converted stone cottages that form part of our exclusive 'Handpicked' collection, built to complement its spectacular surroundings and provide the perfect self-catering holiday. Located within striking distance of some of the most renowned tourist attractions, charming harbour villages and beautiful beaches in North Wales, you’ll be spoilt for choice by the range of activities on offer.

Positioned around an attractive central courtyard, the Cottage features exceptional standards of design yet retains an abundance of rustic features including granite walls and log-burning fire in the lounge and solid timber flooring throughout, which are beautifully contrasted by a luxurious fully fitted kitchen.

Both bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) offer whisper-soft super-king beds, where the upstairs bed can also be converted into twins, proving perfect for families and groups of friends. Each room is lovingly decorated with plush textiles, throws and cushions, and offers a chance to sleep in the upmost comfort during your escape by the sea.

Both indulgent yet cosy bedrooms boast newly renovated en-suite shower rooms that offer contemporary fittings, soothing colour palettes and plenty of space to renew and refresh following a day spent exploring the beautiful coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula. There is also a brand new family bathroom located downstairs, which includes a deep tub (ideal for blissful bubble baths!) and a beautiful skylight so you can watch the world go by while you melt away any stresses.

Additional modern amenities include flat screen television, cooker, microwave, dishwasher & washer/dryer. Cot and highchairs are available on request for infants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and Quality We visited in November 2016 for 3 nights with our 2 dogs and despite cold weather, the cottage was very warm and inviting. The standard of fittings, furniture and soft furnishings were all of the highest standard. The bed was huge, with lovely fabrics and pillows and was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, again with superior standard fittings, cooking implements, pans, etc. As we cooked each night we were glad that there was nothing we wanted for. The bathrooms are really nice and modern with heated floors. We only utilised the downstairs; there is a bedroom with en-suite upstairs which would provide some added privacy if there were 2 couples. The Cottage has a spacious entrance hall with boot & coat rack and proved the perfect place to dry off the dogs after a wet walk. In terms of the surrounding area, there were walks direct from the cottage with fabulous coastal views. Local pubs proved a little disappointing. The Ship Inn looked the best but as we only called for a quick drink on the last night, we didn't get to try the food. However, they do sell about 25 different gins, which would have proved interesting if we'd stayed a little longer! Overall, we loved the Cottage and also the feel of the cluster of cottages around a lovely courtyard area, full of plants and garden furniture. It will be 3 days that we fondly remember, not least because of the excellent Cottage.
