Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOTS OF ROOM, CLOSE TO BEACH, QUIET STREET Our party of 12 (7 adults and 5 kids age 8 yo and down) had more than enough room renting both top and bottom. Check in and check out seemed almost too easy. The provided property guides were very informative and easily understood. The entire property is beautifully decorated by a professional. The street was quiet during our stay for mid July. The property is well bordered with fence and foliage creating a very private space, making the outdoor access between the 2 units more accommodating. We enjoyed a few figs from the tree in the side yard and a pear off another tree. I was worried the bottom unit might be uncomfortable since there is a wall/window unit only for air conditioning, but it stayed more than cool all week set no less than 73-74 most often. Plenty of parking space for 3 vehicles, beach carts, beach toys, and other wet items one may want to leave out for drying/sand. The upstairs deck area seemed larger than the photographs looked, and the two charcoal grills were very much appreciated. We utilized all of the space available during our stay, as the weather forced us inside at times, and never felt crowded. The foosball and pool tables also helped on the rainy days. Both units were well stocked with utensils and kitchen ware. We loved the den with its motion light and lots of storage for all the grocery items we brought along. Plenty of towels, wash clothes, the up and downstairs washer/dryers were fantastic to have for a group our size. I was also impressed at the amount of provided trash bags and the dual set of recycling and trash bins outside was another unexpected bonus. Kids liked the short walk to the nearby playground behind the library. THE BEACH at the end of 6th street was perfect. Tons of available space mid July. Lots of beach to enjoy here. Short drive to the pier and pavilion. Easy access to grocery and local shops, restaurants and bars. It was very, VERY hard to leave such a nice home.
