Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Location This was our first time traveling to Tybee. Our Beachside Hideaway made it such a fabulous experience! It was perfect for our group of 3 adults (2 in the bed, one on the futon). The air was really cool the whole time, and we loved enjoying our evenings on the porch while listening to the waves. The name couldn't describe it any better - it is a cute, cool little hideaway and only a short walk from the beach!! We were able to enjoy the beach for a few hours, and come back to fix lunch and never had to worry about driving/parking. It is on the end of the island, so traffic was light. We were also close enough to some shops and eateries, that we were able to walk to them. Highly recommended!! I know we will be back some day!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very cozy & laid back. This was my 9th visit I believe. I always have a great time just steps away from the beach. I enjoy the large porch area to sit and relax. The unit is well suited for my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Location This was our 5th stay on 19th St., it's a great location, close to beach and just a walk away from town. We actually got to meet the owner for the first time, very nice gentleman. My husband and I got married on Tybee Island just yards away from Beachside Hideaway, so this place is very special to us. We will definitely will be returning, most likely again very soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Cute and Peaceful! This was mine and my husbands first trip to Tybee/Savannah. We arrived around 10:30 at night and were unable to get the key pad to work so we contacted Kelly and she was so helpful and got us in with no problem! The apartment is located right next to the beach in the basement of a large beach house. We had sole access to the deck outside which we enjoyed sitting on in the mornings. The only mild annoyance was that since it’s in the basement and the people staying in the house above had small children they could be heard running around above us along with furniture being moved. It wasn’t enough for me to say I wouldn’t stay there again but might be for someone else. Loved that it was within walking distance of almost everything! Overall it was a very enjoyable stay!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cozy and near the beach The ceilings are not very high, so a person over 5'10" may have an issue, since my daughter and I are height challenged (5'1")we did not mind it. We thought the property was a good value for what we paid. We liked being in the residential area and being close enough to walk to downtown to restaurants and shopping. The building is old and therefore you could hear the neighbors above you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great get away I went over Mother's Day weekend. The apartment is cozy and comfortable. The only couple of complaints I have is that the mattress needs updating and when it rains alot the entrance to the apartment (not the apartment door but the decking leading to the apartment) floods. The location was wonderful and the owners were super nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great location We visited in June during the busy season. The price was very reasonable and the location was perfect. No beach view, but only steps away from the boardwalk. I like how it was at the very south end with very little traffic of people. But still walking distance from the main pier. But be careful if you are over 6ft tall, the door frames are pretty low.
