Your charming Melvin Bay cottage awaits, complete with a spacious shared yard next to a sandy community beach at property 368. This New Hampshire classic is part of a small group of three cottages and is just a short drive to historic Wolfeboro, with great restaurants, shopping, and other lake activities. Sleeping six, this cottage has three bedrooms (one on the main level and two upstairs) and one bath on the main level with a shower stall only. The bedrooms offer guests a full-sized sleeping accommodation and four twins to ensure a good night’s sleep.

End your night with your favorite show on the television, complete with satellite, or crack open a good book and curl up by the wood-burning stove. The kitchen is full-equipped with both large and small appliances to meet all of your cooking needs and dine at the four-person table to recount your day. A charcoal grill is also available for your use.

There is a day dock that is able to accommodate a 16-foot boat, and one mooring able to accommodate up to a 20-foot boat for $75.00 per week that must reserved in advance. Both are shared with other surrounding cottages on a requested first come, first serve basis.

The location was perfect--steps from the Lake and a short drive to Wolfboro. We hope to come back next year and rent the middle cottage.

LOCATION: WONDERFUL; COTTAGE: CHARMING, NEEDS WORK

Location is top notch. Their is a view of Lake Winnepesauki from the cottage and the water with the Town of Melvin Village beach steps away. It brought back memories of my summer months spent at Prospect Slope, a short distance up the road in Melvin Village. The cottage has a charming feel to it. Good size attached screen porch was well used especially in the evening for chatter with family members and various card games. CONCERNS: - Dusty, especially under beds where tennis ball and kids toys were found. - Window fans were extremely dirty. - Coffee grounds were left in coffee maker. (I removed) - Kitchen sink did not drain properly (I fixed) - Water is seeping into the wood at base of toilet. Looked like someone did ssome caulking. Definitely needs to be addressed soon.

Great location

We have stayed at this property many times, it is a great quiet location with an easy walk to the water. It is rustic, mattress in the main bedroom needs an upgrade and lacks a couch in the living room.
