Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team in the Head Office in Wilmslow, Cheshire. This role will principally be processing invoices and payments and supporting the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist in managing the purchase ledgers of multi-entity structure. The Junior Purchase Ledger will report into the Senior Finance Manager. This is a busy role and is suited to a candidate who is keen to develop their career in the Finance area. The role requires a candidate who is reliable, holds good attention to detail, is able to communicate at all levels across the business and has the ability to work within a team

Responsibilities

• Purchase Ledger processing for the Natural Retreats/Assets multi-entity structure.
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Liaise with suppliers and internal staff
• Invoice logging, coding and authorisation
• Managing Accounting inbox and ensuring all invoices are printed/distributed and queries responded to.
• Posting and coding employee expenses and credit cards
• Assisting in preparation of month end payment runs
• Scanning invoices and ensuring that digital copies of all invoices and payments are electronically stored
• Processing purchase orders and matching with invoices
• Owner statements downloading and processing

Person Specification

Experience/Qualifications
• Basic Purchase Ledger knowledge would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
• Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics – Great Plains would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
