Summertime Winter Park

Don’t let the name fool you, there’s more than just winter fun in Winter Park!

In fact, this Colorado town is equally as beautiful and bustling in the summer – we think it’s the perfect time to visit. Come discover why residents say they come for the winter but stay for the summer in this action-packed Colorado mountain town.

Winter Park is the best place from which to experience the spectacular Rocky Mountain National Park. Less than an hour from our Handpicked Homes, this is a great spot to view wildlife, hike, take a scenic drive or participate in a Ranger-led program. This incredible 415 square miles of protected mountain land celebrated its 100th birthday last January!

Wet a line with an unforgettable day of guided wade fishing in Grand County, home to more fishable water than any other county in Colorado. We have partnered with Winter Park Flyfisher to offer our guests a full service experience. From equipment rental to a casting lesson from one of the experienced and patient guides, this certainly is a memorable and family-friendly activity.

Whether from the back of a horse or the seat of a bike, explore Winter Park and the surrounding area on the trail. Call our Xplore Team at 888-451-0156 to inquire about bike rentals and horsing around options. We can also arrange a horse drawn wagon ride, followed by either breakfast or a steak dinner.
