Red, White, and Gorgeous Tahoe Blue

You’ve got the whole 4th of July weekend in North Lake Tahoe—good thing there are plenty of community events and fireworks displays to keep you busy!

Here’s what’s going on in Lake Tahoe throughout the holiday weekend:

Fireworks Shows
Red White and Tahoe Blue, July 1-4
This 4 day event includes the annual Veteran’s recognition, a pancake breakfast, parade, an ice cream eating contest, and more great events. And of course, enjoy the fireworks display light up the glassy lake below—good luck finding a more beautiful show.

July 3 Celebration – Fireworks & Beach Party in Kings Beach
Grab some food, a drink, and a slice of watermelon on the beach and take part in costume contests, games, music, and a terrific fireworks show. This may be the kookiest event in Tahoe!

Tahoe City 4th of July Beach Bash and Fireworks Show, July 4
The annual fireworks show on the beach at Tahoe City is a must on Independence Day!

Other awesome events
Run to the Beach, July 4
Starting at the North Tahoe Regional Park, you can run, walk, or stroll the 5K or 10K course ending at the Tahoe Vista Recreation area beach, where there’s a great beach for cooling off after the race. There will also be drinks, awards, and a raffle at the finish line.

Bluesday, every Tuesday this summer
A free concert series in the Village at Squaw Valley, featuring blues, brews, and great food.
