From the ‘Forgotten Coast’ of Cape San Blas, FL to the most serene Sea Island escapes…there is something for everyone.
Cape San Blas, FL
Cape San Blas is a peaceful, serene retreat for the whole family. With gorgeous, dog-friendly beaches, you won’t even have to leave your pup behind this time! The bay is distinguished by shallow wading areas great for scalloping in the summer, and powder white sand fit for lounging year-round. The gentle surf and pristine waters are supported by almost 17 miles of shoreline, making it the perfect place for endless discovery.
(Experiential travel company Sunset Reflections by Natural Retreats offers a wide selection of oceanfront and beach access homes. Enjoy added benefits like, $250 worth of beach gear for free and the Xplorie Program when you stay in Cape San Blas with Natural Retreats).
Sea Islands, SC
Enjoy this collection of islands, only a quick drive from historic Beaufort, South Carolina. With an abundant marine life, you can expect to see fish, sea turtles and even a few dolphins on your stay! Adventure through the marshes in a kayak or explore the beaches on horseback- Sea Islands are full of adventure for all ages. As barrier islands, Fripp, Harbor, Dataw, and St. Helena are all perfect unknown destinations
Tybee Island, GA
Named one of Coastal Living’s 2015 “Happiest Coastal Towns” in the United States, Tybee is full of fun and sun. Looking to stay active? Rent bikes, kayaks, and SUP boards. Want to get on the water? Venture out for a dolphin tour! Of course, there are plenty of spots of rest and relaxation too! Stop by the Tybee Island Lighthouse, one of the seven oldest colonial lighthouses in the country. Let Tybee become your new family favorite getaway.
Bald Head Island, NC
Known for it’s beautiful semi-tropical climate and rich island history, this destination makes for a beautiful vacation year round. To get to this island you will take a twenty minute ferry ride, just be sure to leave all stress and worries on the mainland before your 3-day weekend. With 14 miles of sandy beaches and 15 miles of pathways to explore along the island, there is something for everyone to enjoy on this blissful escape!
