Light Up The Skies
Did you know that the magnificent boom heard when you send a firework soaring, is caused by the air exploding faster than the speed of sound? Or, that the hardest colour explosion to create is blue?
November is a time for new discoveries, so we've put together our favourite local bonfire & fireworks displays to pencil into your holiday diary! With smells of hog-roasts and logfires drifting through the smoky air, and sparkly sights to be seen in the skies, a luxurious long weekend this Autumn is the perfect antidote to the hubbub of everyday life!

"Remember, remember, the 5th... well actually the 3rd of November. We'll be building a bonfire even bigger than last year, and getting a generous helping of warming food on the go, maybe a toffee apple or two, and some other, stronger stuff. The evening was a huge success last year, with so many in attendance, and we're looking forward to building on the event in 2017. Children's activities and food stalls will be in attendance. Get down and join us on the esplanade & beach for a heart warming, toe tingling bonfire evening! "
