A Lacey Perspective: Natural Retreats
Last weekend I spent an unbelievably relaxing weekend in Homestead, Virginia (approximately a four hour drive from DC) with Jessica, Carlis, Morgan, the hubs and the pugs. Our accommodations were all thanks to Natural Retreats. The home nestled between the trees was stunning! No detail was missed. We had a fully stocked kitchen, a concierge to call to set reservations for dinner or plans to kayak, washer/dryer and piles of wood ready for the fire pit outside.
We went to dinner downtown at this adorable farm to table restaurant, Les Cochons d’Or (aka: The Golden Pig). I had one of the best French Onions Soups (my fave soup of all time) possibly of my entire life and the wood grilled chicken was perfection.
Another amazing thing about our home is it was pet friendly! Lucy and Tyler had a blast! There was even bowls and cages set out when we arrived.
It was truly the weekend I needed. Relaxing, luxurious, homey and filled with people (and pugs) I love.
There are Natural Retreat locations all over the world! I cannot recommend giving Natural Retreats a try more. Everything was so easy and the pricing is VERY friendly. Now to plan our next retreat.
