Labor Day in Sun Valley

Escape to vibrant Central Idaho this Labor Day weekend, where exciting events are around every corner.

Here's what's going on in Sun Valley, Idaho over Labor Day weekend and beyond.

Wagon Days | September 1-5
The largest non-motorized parade in the country rolls through Ketchum in a traditional fashion reminiscent of a time before railroads and automobiles found their way to Sun Valley. Natural Retreats is very excited to be sponsoring this fun event, full of cowboys, horses, dancers, and even a delicious pancake breakfast. This is Sun Valley in its truest old western spirit!

Hailey Antique Market | September 2-5
Antique dealers from all over the west will flock to Hailey with a huge variety of fine art, jewelry, vintage furniture, cowboy boots and hats, and much more. Flying home and unable to transfer furniture yourself? The Xplore Team would be happy to help you arrange transportation for your new unique piece.

Rebecca’s Private Idaho Bike Race | September 3-4
Natural Retreats is a proud sponsor of Rebecca’s Private Idaho, a gravel bike race throughout the best routes in Sun Valley designed to showcase the area’s incredible scenery. Experience the private side of Sun Valley and contribute to three great charities—The Wood River Bike Coalition, PeopleforBikes.org, and World Bicycle Relief—while you ride.

Ernest Hemingway Festival | September 8-10
If you can stick around for a few extra days, the Ernest Hemingway Festival will be well worth it for those with a special place in their heart for this gruff literary legend. The annual event celebrates all things Hemingway, who spend much of his time in Sun Valley and held a great appreciation for its landscape. Visitors will enjoy lectures, discussions, an insiders’ tour of the Sun Valley Museum of History, and more.
