Roald Dahl’s Halloweden 21–29 October 2017

It’s Halloweden... but not as you know it. This half-term, discover if you’re brave enough to take on Roald Dahl’s most terrible villains, as you encounter themes from five of the best-selling books. It’s a spooktacular special that will delight children and grown-ups alike. Join in a witch-spotter's training sesson, sneak chickens from Boggis, Bunce and Bean's farmhouse, creep past the BFG's sleeping giants and show off your skills in the Trunchbull test! Plus, there's ice-skating on the chilling rink and the Little Monsters' Ball Halloween Disco 2017 on Saturday 28 October!

Heligan Halloween 21–29 October 2017

Throughout half term the Lost Gardens are holding ‘Heligan Halloween’. Heligan’s woods will be the location of the spooky Halloween Trail. Where you are challenged to follow the trail and discover the spooky goings on that may give you either a fright or a delight! There is also enchanted tales and magical yarns being told by the Heligan’s Story Tellers in the Halloween Yurt in the Steward’s Garden. Throughout the week there ware a number of craft activities for you to enjoy also.

Cornucopia Cornwall All year round!

A free-to-enter visitor attraction that celebrates Cornwall’s rich food and drink heritage. The UK’s first Cornish Pasty Heritage Centre reveals the stories behind the county’s famous snack and offers visitors the chance to bake and eat their own pasties. The contemporary food hall caters to many tastes with wood-fired pizza, artisan ice cream, gluten-free baked goods and small-batch-produced ales to choose from. Next door, Cornucopia Family Adventure is Cornwall’s go-to destination for indoor-outdoor play - whatever the weather. There is plenty to keep older children entertained and younger visitors will appreciate the dedicated toddler space.

Lanhydrock House 25 October - 2 November 2017

Test your skills and win lots of prizes with Lanhydrock House's Spooky Garden Trail. Once completed, explore the late Victorian country house and discover two sides of Victorian life; from servants quarters to the comforts of luxury upstairs. A great family event with plenty to see and do.


Shriek Week at Newquay Zoo 21 - 29 October 2017

Spooktacular fun for all the family with the Shiek Week trail, creep-crawly talks, spooky makeovers, spooktacular specials in the cafe and fancy dress competitions!

Dairyland Farm World 24 - 30 October 2017

Show off your creative skills with Dairyland's free, fun-filled pumpkin carving and Spooky Craft Workshops. Explore the spooky surroundings of the farm and dive into the massive indoor play area. Plenty here to keep you busy for the entire day.

Halloweek at Lappa Valley 21 - 29 October 2017

Alongside all of the regular great attractions will be a Spooks trail, children’s Halloween quiz, spooky colouring and a prize for everyone who comes in fancy dress!

National Trust Trengwainton 23 - 27 October 2017

Pumpkin fun day on Sunday 23rd - pumpkin skittles, a pumpkin shy, pumpkin tasting and of course the ever-popular pumpkin carving. Then on Monday 24th to Thursday 27th there’ll be apple bobbing and toffee apple making with Trengwainton-grown apples.

Dead of Night Dance, Tehidy Woods 25 - 31 October 2017

For something a little different, why not be brave and venture out into the woods for a wicked and wonderful Halloween celebration with theatre, live music, storytelling, dance and a twist of spectacle.


Halloween at Creepy Creek 21–29 October 2017
