Blair's Lake Winnipesaukee Favorites

Lake Winnipesaukee is one of the most beautiful lakes in the United States and has been a favorite vacation destination of mine for years. Not only does it provide a stunning lake and great hiking trails, but the area also offers fantastic restaurants and fun for the whole family. Weirs Beach: Laconia
This one is a no brainer. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or your significant other, you’ll definitely want to check out this Lake Winni hot spot! Spend your morning catching some rays on the beach, then head to the boardwalk to explore the shops and maybe play a round of mini golf or hit the arcades! There are also restaurants if you get hungry and a seasonal calendar of events and activities.

Giuseppe’s Ristorante: Meredith
If you’re craving pizza or authentic Italian, look no further than Giuseppe’s Ristorante. It’s been a Lake Region’s staple since 1989 and is the perfect spot to get a bite to eat and enjoy the nightly entertainment. They offer a variety of entrees, but my personal favorite is the Gourmet Primavera Pizza topped off with a glass of the White Zinfandel!

Castle in the Clouds at Lucknow Estate: Moultonborough
Tour the early 20th century mansion and admire the 360-degree view of the mountains from the gardens. The estate offers guests the opportunity to check out the Lucknow Museum, the gift shop, the art gallery, and even provides dining options. If you’re feeling adventurous, hop on one of the hiking trails around the estate and breathe in the fresh air!

Gunstock Aerial Treetop Adventures: Gilford
Glide through the air on a zip-line or navigate your way through the challenging ropes courses. Gunstock Adventure Park is the largest ropes course in New England, and is also the most fun! Round up the family and take to new heights! It’s a thrill you’ll definitely want to check out while you’re staying on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Hart’s Turkey Farm: Meredith
No trip to Lake Winnipesaukee is complete without a stop at Hart’s Turkey Farm. Opened since 1954, this eatery is locally owned and operated, providing visitors fresh entrees and a great dining experience! You can’t go wrong when ordering the Turkey Pie, it hits the spot every time, and finish off your meal with Hart’s Old Fashioned Root Beer Float. There’s no doubt you’ll be one satisfied customer!
