Guided Fly Fishing on the Provo River

Starting from $270 per person

If you're looking to hook a prize trout, the Provo River may be your chance for that photo-op. A true Blue Ribbon fishery, the Provo is known for its record-length brown and rainbow trout, with a typical fish reaching 18 inches.

Throughout the river's three distinct sections—Upper, Middle and Lower—some pockets offer 3,000 or more trout per mile. Fifteen minutes from Park City is the Middle Provo, which is located between two reservoirs, the Jordanelle and Deer Creek. The Lower Provo River, with its impressive Mt. Timpanogos and Wasatch Range views, is floatable and just 30 minutes from Park City.
Getting to know a river—how, when and where to fish it—takes time. Let one of our keen fly fishing Xplore team members arrange a half or full day fishing trip with a knowledgeable, passionate, experienced local fly fishing guide.
