Above the Clouds

Pristine cabin with game room, sauna, hot tub, and free passes to area attractions.

Above the Clouds is a cozy, one-bedroom, two bath log cabin that comfortably sleeps five people. Guests can choose to snooze in the king-sized bed of the master bedroom, or the specialty-crafted bunk bed set with the bottom bunk featuring a full-sized bed and a twin on top.

When you book your stay at this cabin, you receive free admission to popular Smoky Mountain attractions with Xplorie. This program entitles our guests to one free adult admission ticket, per night stay, to attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium, the Smoky Mountain Opry, Dolly’s Stampede, the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show, and more.

The master bedroom is complete with a stone fireplace, a flat-screen television, and direct access to the cabin’s washer and dryer. The bunk beds are found in the game room, which also contains an air hockey table that can be converted to a pool table and play station. There’s also a sauna and a full bath in the loft. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a dining table that comfortably seats four.

Above the Clouds has a comfortable living room with a stone-stacked electric fireplace, a flat-screen television with cable, surround sound, an Xbox, and plenty of seating for everyone. Off the living room is a small area that has a jetted, whirlpool tub surrounded by large windows with access to the deck.

The wrap-around deck features a hot tub, a fire pit, charcoal and gas grill, and patio chairs to enjoy the beautiful views and mountain air. We apologize, but the Above the Clouds cabin does not accommodate pets, but it does have WIFI access.

Please note that guests must be at least 21 years of age to rent this property.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Close to Everything We visited this home in March. It is a couple of miles from the main Parkway, which made it very easy to get to. Amenities in the home are great. Loved the Hot Tub and the kitchen was well stocked. Gorgeous place. The reason I gave this a 4 is only because of the driveway. It is mostly gravel and it is steep in places. With all the rain we had, it did get quite muddy. We decided last minute to take my husbands truck, which has 4 wheel drive, thank goodness. If we had brought my car, it would have been a struggle to get up the driveway. If it had snowed or was icy, you could forget it. In drier weather, I am sure it is fine. With that said, we had a great time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful cabin! My family stayed in Above the Clouds cabin in December and had a fantastic stay! It had everything we needed and more. My 7 year old absolutely loved the foosball table, pool table and air hockey. It kept us all entertained for hours. The view is absolutely beautiful. One morning we were able to see the snow on the mountain tops. The cabin was very clean and it helped us feel even more at home. Its only 10 minutes from the strip to Pigeon Forge, so it didnt take us no time to get to everything. We loved the place so much, we hated to leave!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome view from this cabin above the clouds Came to participate in the Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival and stayed 10 nights in this beautiful (very clean) cabin. The view was awesome! The photos advertised are accurate. Sometimes in the early morning you can reach out from the porch and touch the mist from passing clouds. Customer service was excellent at booking and when we had questions while at the cabin. They were always available. Only thing we did not like was the mattress in the master bedroom is not good for someone with back issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Please update your photos of the view. Haven't been to the mountains in 8 years so we were so anticipating our stay. Cabin is very nice. And small. Photos make it look alot larger. But that was alright. It was just my husband and I. What was misleading were the pictures of the views. Unless these photos were taken in the dead of winter when there were absolutely no leaves on the trees but that doesn't look to be the case to my eyes anyway. And the driveway.....don't even get me started. Atrocious!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice cabin, photos are a bit deceiving though In the photos they do not show that the sauna is right next to the bunk beds in the loft. The photos also do no show that the indoor jacuzzi tub is actually wide open to the living room with no doors or curtains for privacy. For a honeymoon or single couple’s trip with no kids or other occupants around this would not be an issue. However, my wife did not get to enjoy these amenities due to lack of privacy with our children in the room. Overall it was a good trip and very nice cabin though. I would recommend this property, if you are only coming for a romantic getaway of some sort. A 4x4 is probably a good idea if you visit this location due to it being fairly steep with a mix of dirt, gravel, and a few large pot holes. In a rainy or wintry setting it could be very difficult to get to cabin in a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Octoberfest My wife and I took a long weekend seeking some secluded away time and this cabin fit the bill to a tee. The view is stunning and the location can't be beat. Caution; while you don't have to have a 4 wheel drive, I highly recommend it. The drive in is narrow, very steep, and filled with large potholes and loose rock. Other than that, it's the perfect Smokey Mountain Getaway

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit! My husband, son and I stayed in this cabin in August. It was definitely the perfect fit for our family with plenty of entertainment for all of us. We did need the 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway, but it wasn't a big deal. The management company was absolutely wonderful to work with. I definitely would use Them again and hopefully rent "Above the Clouds" again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's a cozy log home but need some repairs We stayed 5/24 -5/27. Its a cozy log home but need some repairs. Their is a crack in the shower. On the front porch their is a whole burned the size of a softball. The out side pictures are about 5 year old or more. The tree are covering most of the views. The drive was is very steep (4*4 need for winter). The phone service was horrible and the Wi-Fi kept dropping.
