Everything was great with the accommodations! There was a leak in the tub in bathroom that had no door upstairs so we heard it all night long. Other than that, all was good.

The cabin was amazing and so was the view, it was clean and spacious with many wonderful accommodations for the whole family. We were greeted by a family of moose and then another family of moose the next day to which they hung out at the front and back entrance. Absolutely Amazing Thanks

Beautiful location, the quietest place we've ever stayed. Some issues came up that happen in a rural setting that caused us to leave early, however Natural Retreats were very responsive to the issues and made it nearly pain free to check out. The house rules are very easy, had we not had the couple of issues we had, we probably would have extended our stay. Wiht some TLC this place has a massive amount of potential. We appreciated the time we stayed, views are beautiful. I really want to give 5 stars here...

The cabin's size, decor, location, and scenery were spectacular. Loved having comfortable beds, extra towels for the hot tub, several entertainment options, and so many pans and cooking utensils. Other details in the kitchen were problematic, especially having no complete sets of cutlery, which made serving group meals to 10 difficult (thanks for your prompt response to our request for more forks, but we would have also appreciated a sufficient numbers of table knives, spoons, and wine glasses.) In general, cleanliness was good, but we found several filthy mugs in the cabinet. Problems with the dishwasher were investigated and solved by reconnecting the rear hose to the spray arm. The refrigerator/freezer needs attention as well. It left a large puddle of water on the kitchen floor to be mopped up every morning and froze some food items in the bottom drawer. The icemaker was badly frozen as well. Our biggest complaint was the constant stream of water running in the master bathroom tub. It simply could not be shut off. Wasting water like that in a semi-arid state in the middle of a drought is indefensible.

Good communication, pictures a bit outdated. Great location. Short trip to town.
A couple Elk sleeping in the driveway were woken up by myself and my hunting dogs early one morning during our stay. If there is a threat of snow, drive an appropriate vehicle in case the plow driver is MIA.

Accurate description of the property, MUST have 4-Wheel drive to access the lodge in the winter time. The kitchen appliances, couches and entertainment system could use an upgrade, many visible cobwebs in the lodge as well but. There is also no access to the garage which would be a major plus if you could park inside during a snow storm. During our 6 day stay we had 2 snow events 2-4 inches of snow each time and the driveway was plowed once while the porch areas were shoveled twice while we were on the slopes. Overall we had a very enjoyable time at this property!

What an amazing trip. This house is second to none. It is on the top tier of the mountain. So there are no houses above this one. Just the woods. The privacy and space is unreal. When you relax in the hot tub, it is just you and the wilderness. The view is spectacular. The cleanliness of the house as well as the hot-tub was awesome. On top of that, the checkout process was the easiest I have experienced with an AirB&B.
We were also excited to see a momma Moose and her baby every morning grazing in the front/backyard. One night they even slept by the driveway. I think they stay the night just above the house up the mountain. If you are looking for a true getaway in the mountains, this is it. We are already looking to book this house for our ski trip in the winter. Highly highly recommend!

We enjoyed the house but it is in need of some up grades. Appliances are old. Refrigerator leak at the bottom, furniture is old. Some end tables or a coffee table would be appropriate. Fire place tools were broken, handle on the shower was broken, lamp in the bedroom was broken. It needs a deep clean etc. it was just fine for the weekend and we loved the views and the hot tub. The beds are very comfortable but for 400 a night it could use some TLC.

We loved the location and general feel of the house. It was a bit tired inside though and none of the electrical outlets worked in the upstairs baths. Also, we knew it was pet friendly and really only equated that to dogs. It was a couple of days in when we realized that there had also been cats in the house. My husband is allergic to cats, so that was a problem, but on us, we will know better next time when a rental says "pet friendly".

Super view and relaxing getaway
We just spent four nights at the Hideaway cabin and we just got home last night. I miss the mountain views already, they are simply stunning from the master bedroom upstairs. The kids enjoyed the pool table and eventually converted the pool table to the ping pong table, which they played on every day. There may be a spare ball somewhere floating around...my daughter had a wild arm! ;-). My daughter also enjoyed trying all the beds out and she said they were all comfortable. The master was a bit hard for the husband and I, we like firm beds, but this was like board hard, but we got used to it the next couple of nights. We always woke up fine, so it didn't bother our backs at all. Kids loved the bunk beds and the king size bed in the room with the bunk beds. Hot tub was wonderful as well, if you asked my kids there favorite part of their vacation, one of their first things would be the hot tub. Then the ping pong table, putting the puzzle together (which we did on our last day there, because it rained), hot chocolate, and sleeping in all the beds. We loved being close enough to Breckenridge to pop into town, but far enough from civilization that we could enjoy the mountains. Breckenridge is super cute, but definitely lots of people. We enjoyed eating at Empire Burger, Giampieto Pizzaria and Daylight Donuts. Giampieto was awesome pizza, some of the best! Empire had great burgers and Daylight Donuts, we got on our way out of town, awesome donuts of course. Enjoyed our stay and very grateful for having the Hideaway cabin to stay at. Thanks for letting us stay here!

What a Wonderful Stay!
My husband and I took a spur-of-the-moment trip over the New Year's holiday and were fortunate enough to find the Hideaway cabin. The views from this cabin are amazing and the cabin itself is so nice and cozy. We spent many wonderful days sitting on the couch by the fire reading our books and looking out at the stunning views of Mt. Quandary from the comfort of the living room. Our dog, Jack, also had a great time playing in the snow and exploring the front/back yards. The cabin also has a wonderful front/back deck that would be such fun to enjoy during the summertime. And, the hot tub on the back deck was wonderful on the especially cold evenings! We also got a lot of great use out of the pool/Ping-Pong table. This was one of our favorite stays in Blue River. We spent most days/nights at the cabin itself, not feeling a great need to go into Breckenridge because we had everything we needed where we were. The only drawbacks, which are very minor, would be that there's no wireless and the phone reception out there is pretty limited. Also, there aren't any real window covering so at night you feel a little bit on display. All in all though, this was a great vacation and we definitely plan on coming back with our pup, Jack, and bringing our friends with us!

The views of Mt Quandry are spectacular!
The views are spectacular and the home is very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub. The driveway is quite steep and a bit difficult to navigate however we had no problems with the driveway during our stay. The altitude is higher than I expected and should probably be included in the promotion materials. Our grand daughter was recovering from an ear infection and the altitude really bothered her.

Where to even start!!! Everything was amazing to the extent of the staff helping us get into town to the immaculate cabin we were staying in! This home had everything we needed plus a short drive into downtown, also with beautiful views all around being on the side of the mountain! Can't wait to return, this will continue to be a favorite of ours!! I couldn't have asked for anything better!!!

Reasonable pricing and spectacular views and pet friendly
Wonderful house high on the mountain with spectacular views.... Private hot tub is devine, 2 story wrap around deck and a pool table. What else could anyone want... Big bonus being able to bring our furry friends. Altitude is almost 11K so if you are sensitive be sure and buy self contained oxygen bottles available at most grocery stores. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect high country experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the spacious Hideaway log Cabin! The view is beautiful and the house is located in a private, quiet neighborhood only minutes from town. After hiking to Lower Mohawk Lake and walking the quaint streets of Breckingridge, it was so wonderful to return to the cabin for a relaxing evening in the hot tub, or sitting by the fire or playing a game of pool. We hope to be back some day soon!

Miller Honeymoon 2010
Overall this place was amazing. We took part 2 of our honeymoon at the hideaway cabin in September. I never imagined I could get so much cabin for our budget. The location was private and beautiful. I loved being out of the city but just a couple minutes to drive into Breck for supper and shopping. The hot tub, pool table, huge deck, balcony... were all most enjoyed. The kitchen and master bedroom/bath were also great.

Perfect Christmas Vaction!!
This was our first experience with VRBO and Book Breck... I was nervous at first, not sure what to expect, but all of the staff was fantastic! They answered every last question, provided a lot of insight to the area and recommendations to help us plan a perfect Christmas. The cabin we rented was beautiful and had plenty of room for my husband and I and our sons/family. We wanted an adventure and this spot provided all that we dreamed of. The beds were very comfortable, cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked... though I must admit cooking at high altitude does challenge me a bit. LOL. We were prepared for the drive way... they gave us a great heads up and we actually learned to navigate it very well- hint- when you pull up to the first switch back, back up to the second and pull forward to the house... easy in 4WD. This was a vacation to be remembered- our youngest son proposed to his girlfriend during our stay and this will always be a spot for all of us to remember.... definitely want to go back!

Million Dollar Views
We stayed in the Hideaway Cabin in September 2013. The views are truly million dollar views. The views from the front of the cabin are spectacular. The cabin is very large but the living area is cozy with the wood burning fireplace. Waking up to the mountains covered in snow was priceless! It was secluded and away from town but was only a short drive back to Breckenridge. We will definitely be back to the Hideaway Cabin!!

Fantastic
We came from California and met our Colorado friends for a wonderful retreat and amazing accomodations. The home was mountain style comfortable, the hot tub under the trees fantastic and the views to die for. It is just a short drive to the fun town, where we spent Saturday walking around (not too busy - between seasons) and then just grabbed groceries, a bottle of wine and enjoyed cooking our own dinner, sitting in the hot tub and visiting.

We fell in love with Hideaway Cabin. Nestled in the woods high up a mountain road, this home is spacious yet cozy. High end amenities only add to the luxurious experience we had while celebrating an early Christmas up in Breckenridge. We look forward to a time in the future when we can spend some time there.

Best Winter Vacation Spot
We (myself, boyfriend, and several other friends) stayed in this house for two full months - January and February 2011. The house is a 15 minute drive from Breckenridge - just secluded enough to be in touch with nature and just close enough to town for all its amenities. The house has incredible views of the surrounding mountains and is quite comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen, radiant heating floors, pool table, and plenty of beds. There is ample common space and a sizeable dining room table. We came for winter sports in Breckenridge and the surrounding area, but some days, we ended up staying home because the house was just so comfortable to lounge in. It was a pleasure dealing with the rental folks. They were great about coming by to maintain the property. I would definitely recommend this spot to others; in fact, we're already dreaming of a return trip next winter!

Awesome vacation
We stayed in this beautiful home on June 29th-July 6th, 2013. This home has spectacular views. The home is as the pictures describe and the weather was just heavenly...much cooler than Texas! We saw mule deer's, chipmunks, & squirrel's, and a present that a bear left us by the house. We traveled for the first time with our dogs and they adjusted just fine and our hunting dog loved running in the mountain area everyday. My parents were with us,and they loved the house too and enjoyed the incredible views. Our daughter loved the bunk beds and the pool table. We played many games of pool. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. There is something about sitting in a hot tub being surrounded by the mountains. It would be nice if this home has cell and/or wifi service. We would stay here again.

A wonderful opportunity to enjoy the mountains in comfort and pl
The Hideaway Cabin was everything, and more of what we expected for lodging while enjoying the colorful mountains of Colorado. The home provided all the amenities of our own homes. The location of the Hideaway Cabin was perfect for our objectives of fishing, climbing mountains, shopping experiences and excellent restaurants in Breckenridge. It's difficult to describe what we all liked best because the home provided everything all five of us enjoy. Ie: The hot tub, the pool table, the barbeque grill, the superb kitchen, the dinning room table, dish TV, excellent beds, bathroom facilities, and most of all, comfort.

Amazing Views
Views were amazing at the property. The house and hot tub were awesome. Only negatives about renting the property was the driveway is tricky to navigate pulling a trailer with a suburban (took some tense navigating up the tight turns), WiFi is very spotty and weak in the house, and cell service is non existent at the house. There is a house phone at the residence though. Even with the negative things, I would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely Awesome Accomodations!
"If you have never been to Colorado in the summer then you don't know what you're missing. This was our first time visiting in the summer and we absolutely loved staying at the Hideaway Cabin. It was just a few miles south of downtown Breck which was an easy drive when we wanted to go in town, Yet afforded us the privacy and spectacular views of being on a mountain. There were houses on 2 sides of us (both far enough away that we felt we still had our own space) and the other 2 sides of the house faced wooded area.
The house is open; spacious; well equipped; and has a lovely, authentic cabin feel to it. They thought of every last detail, even providing information on hiking trails and a rewards card for the local grocery store (which did end up saving us money when we shopped-Thanks!). My kids loved the cabin and spent almost all their free time playing pool or ping pong. The hot tub was a great amenity after those long hikes and set right on the edge of the patio near the woods. Beautiful.
Since this cabin is pet friendly, we even got to bring our dogs with us. This was HUGE for us. It not only saved us the expense of having to board our dogs for a week, it made our vacation that much more enjoyable because they got to go almost everywhere with us. There were only 2 times all week they stayed in the kennel (which we brought with us) at the cabin: when we went zip-lining and when we visited Country Boy Mine. Otherwise, they were hiking with us, visiting Pikes Peak & Garden of the Gods (both well worth the 2 hr drive it took to get there) or shopping and eating out in downtown Breckenridge.
I would absolutely recommend this cabin to family and friends. We are already talking about when we can go back again!"
