Natural Explorer Boat Rides

There’s plenty to discover around the coast here, and the most exhilarating way to explore it is on our boat ride, speeding across the waves towards Stroma and along the dramatic coastline around the Stacks of Duncansby. You’ll see Scottish wildlife up close, with the chance to see orca and minke whales as they migrate, plus smaller marine mammals such as grey seals, porpoises and dolphins – not to mention birdlife such as kittiwakes, guillemots, razorbills, shags and puffins (depending on the time of year). We’ll provide lifejackets and waterproofs, so just bring your sea legs – and look forward to an unforgettable experience! Find out more here.

The best local produce and provisions – only a stone’s throw away! We pride ourselves on aiding sustainability in our local economies, which is why we have created an on-site co-operative shop where you can find anything from freshly baked bread to local speciality cheese. Our Storehouse also boasts a local produce café , so you can enjoy local delicacies without having to prepare – heaven! Find out more here.
