Many of our guests enjoy visiting Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park as part of their trip. Trips into the parks do require a day or two of your vacation to get the most out of your visit but planning to spend the extra time is always rewarded with great memories and up-close and personal views of the wildlife.

An extended trip away from the South Fork of the Snake River is not always needed to see wildlife. During your day on the river you always have the opportunity to see many different species. Our guides are great sources of information about the habits of these creatures and you will go home knowing much more than when you arrived.

Whether you want to become the next Ansel Adams or just want to enhance your memories through photography, the subjects of your work are endless here at the South Fork Lodge.

If you want to take pictures during your fly-fishing trip, ensure that you take appropriate measures to ensure your equipment can stay dry and easily accessible. Talk with your guide and let him/her know your intentions about photographs. When you do capture some great fishing images and feel like sharing them with us, simply email the images to us and we will include them in our Photo Contest featured in our regular e-newsletters. Please include a short description and provide permission to publish.

So make sure you pack your camera and let your creative energy loose once you arrive.
