5 night, 4 day fly-fishing vacation
Below is just a sample of what's possible; our reservation staff can customize your fly-fishing vacation to any length of stay you desire with as many days of fishing you can handle. So look at your calendar, decide what the focus of your trip will be, and then give us a call. We can take care of you from start to finish and create an unforgettable trip.
Wednesday
Complete your journey to the Lodge with a 3pm check-in time. Enjoy exploring the Lodge property, maybe hit the casting pond and hone your skills or pull on your waders and fish just upstream from the Lodge. Each evening, guests gather on the Patio or Card Room with other Lodge guests, sharing the day's events, building new friendships and enjoying occasional guest speakers or on-site demonstrations. Dinner is then served on the streamside Patio or in the Dining Room from 6pm to 9pm.
Thursday
Breakfast in the Lodge, then fly-fishing on the Upper Section (Palisades dam to Conant, 15 river miles) with one of our seasoned guides from South Fork Outfitters. Lunch on the river and back to the Lodge by 5:30pm with dinner served from 6pm to 9pm.
Friday
Breakfast in the Lodge, fish the Upper Canyon Section (Conant to our private access at Eagle, 12 river miles). Lunch on the river and back to the Lodge by 5:30pm with dinner served from 6pm to 9pm.
Saturday
Breakfast in the Lodge, take a day off from fishing and take the scenic route to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for the day. Art Galleries, great restaurants, lots of shopping, the Wildlife Museum, tram rides at Teton Village, and more are all options to make an exciting day. If you want more adrenaline, you can take a whitewater rafting trip or hit the trails on your mountain bike. A day off from fishing can really round out your whole vacation with so many different activities available close by. To visit Teton or Yellowstone National Park, we suggest adding another day or two and spending the night in the Park either before or after your stay with us at the South Fork Lodge. Return to the Lodge by 6pm for dinner, or experience the Jackson nightlife instead.
Sunday
Breakfast in the Lodge, fish the Lower Canyon Section (Eagle to Byington, 13 river miles). Lunch on the river and back to the Lodge by 5:30pm with dinner served from 6pm to 9pm.
Monday
Breakfast in the Lodge, check-out by 11am and start the journey home. Don't forget to make your reservation for your next stay before leaving. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
