Since 1898, Heise Hot Springs has operated as a family-oriented resort overlooking the Snake River near Idaho Falls and the lodge. Highlights include several swimming pools and a 350-foot water slide. With an extra day at the South Fork Lodge, you can revive your fishing muscles with a good soak in the hot water - a real bonus if you are doing any winter time fishing. Also, if members of your party do not fish, a day at Heise Hot Springs is a great option for them while you are on the water. They even have a 9-hole golf course.
Season: Year-round.
Hours: Memorial Day to Labor Day, 8am till 10pm daily.
Winter: Mon to Fri, 2pm till 10pm. Sat and Sun, 10am till 10pm. Closed November.
