Castlemartyr Golf Club is an 18 hole, inland links championship course designed by Ron Kirby. The Club provides an unforgettable experience through its first-class service, Club House, Pro-Shop and practice facilities. The course is available for residents to play all year round.



The Spa at Castlemartyr includes nine private treatment rooms, nail salon, fitness centre including a yoga and fitness studio, ozone-treated pool, jet pool and spacious wet treatment areas with separate sauna and steam rooms. It is recommended that treatments are booked in advance to avoid disappointment.



Enjoy fly casting and fishing tuition on-site with our experienced Ghillie. Instruction is provided with five rods and five reels and guests will enjoy an interactive experience.



Enjoy a private tour of the estate in our Horse and Carriage or our Pony and Trap. Tours take place within the 220 beautiful acres of grounds that surround Castlemartyr and are a great way to see the estate.



We have the finest coaching (including an ex-Irish Olympian instructor) and the most imaginative games available. Nock, Cock Fletch, Vane and Quiver are just some of the strange terms you will learn when doing this most ancient of sports. Minimum of 4 people, over 12′s only. Must be booked in advance.



Castlemartyr is ideal for children with vast grounds to play in, woods to explore, dogs to walk and lots more entertainment nearby such as Fota Wildlife Park and Leahy’s Open Farm.

A special pony and trap tour shows children how to steer the ponies and help out in the stables. In the evening the family can relax in the Living Room, taking advantage of the selection of books and board games.



Garryvoe is a blue flag beach within easy reach and boasts beautiful views of Ballycotton Lighthouse Island. Nearby Youghal has a number of the finest and safest beaches in Ireland, with two Blue Flags for water quality and Ballynamona Beach also doubles up as bird sanctuary.



The Knight’s Bar is the social focal point of the resort’s hotel with blazing fireplace, baby grand piano and fully restored Rococo ceiling. Following pre-dinner drinks, the Bell Tower is the perfect fine dining restaurant serving superior gourmet cuisine using the finest local, farm fresh ingredients. For casual family dining, Franchini’s offers an extensive Italian a la carte and childrens menu and is open from 5.30pm. Bookings are required for all dining outlets.
